Scoring and Awards
Each year, patrols are scored across seven weighted categories, and the patrol with the highest overall score is named Honor Patrol. The competition is meant to bring out everyone's best, and it's a reminder that you can compete hard and still have fun as Scouts.

Scoring criteria may change from year-to-year. Please review the Participant Packet for the most accurate and current information.
5 Saturday Morning Games
Participation: Check-in items, presentation board, Good Turn, camp-wide activity, evening events.
Spirit Patrol Votes: by Patrol Leaders, costumes, cheers, and support of other patrols.
Campsite Evaluations: judged against Scout Handbook standards.
Patrol Flag: theme, originality, craftsmanship, construction, and patrol information.
Table Decorations: Saturday dinner table decor, judged on the same criteria as flags.
Registration: Registered on time with a full, accurate patrol roster.
Honor Patrol
This is the top award, given to the patrol with the highest overall score. This award is honored with a gold bead for the claw necklace. The gold bead is within reach for any patrol that stays engaged and gives its best all weekend. Keep the Scouting spirit alive, look out for one another, and enjoy the journey.
